The Great Northwest has a HOLE!

        Camaraderie
        Quality Living
        Exciting Work Place
        Teaching Opportunities
        Specialists Collaboration
        Diverse Challenging Cases

The Animal Dental Clinic is a privately owned VERY busy oral surgery/dental clinic that has a hole to fill and NEEDS YOUR HELP. We need someone who is board certified or board-eligible to help us at our 3 (currently 2) full-time oral surgeon/dentist practice south of Portland in Lake Oswego. This area of the Great Northwest is just 2 hours to the mountains or coast! If you like walking in the woods, on the mountain tops or on a sandy beach you just may enjoy it here.

Do you like good support when you are working? Here you get it all. We have an amazing support staff including 6 CVTs, 4 of whom are certified VTS-Dentistry specialists!! At the Animal Dental Clinic we LOVE having a truly positive work environment where we work as a team and genuinely enjoy the company of our co-workers!

The clinic is equipped with 4 fully appointed dental and oral surgery operatory stations. Diagnostic equipment includes DR and CR intraoral digital radiography, Verity cone beam computed tomography, diode surgical and therapeutic (stomatitis) lasers, access to plating equipment as needed, in-house laboratory, separate dog and cat wards and standard digital radiology (for cardiopulmonary evaluation and staging purposes). Our practice is paper light including the use of a digital dental charting system (Sabertooth Charting).

We share our space with two other veterinary specialists, a cardiologist and an anesthesiologist, both board certified. We frequently collaborate to augment treatment on our more challenging cases. Due to the often older and sometimes frail/higher risk population in dentistry the patients really benefit from access to the involvement of these two complimentary specialists to optimize outcomes and reduce stress.

Separate space for continuing education lecture/lab for our doctor and tech specialists and Ping Pong!

If you have interest in working with us, please address your inquiry to Dr. Jean Battig @ 503-292-4533 or drbattig@gmail.com
